Under this, 5 kg of foodgrains are now being given free of cost to the poor. At the same time, many other benefits are also being given. There are many other benefits of ration cards. In fact, ration cards are an essential card for all, rich or poor.  It is also used as an Identity Card. And, in times of crisis, the Government also provided free ration to the poor people of the country.

The Government has announced free ration to the poor by November. The scheme will provide free ration facility to about 80 crore persons in India. Under this, 5 kg of foodgrains are being given free of cost to the poor. At the same time, you can use this government card as an address proof. In addition, the type of identity card also works. All types of work like banks, as land papers, gas connections, all places you can use this card. It is also used to make voter ID cards as well as other necessary papers.

Apply for Ration Card:-
1- First visit the official portal of your state.
2- For example, if you are a resident of Bihar, click on hindiyojana.in/apply-ration-card-bihar.
3- Now click on the link with Apply online for ration card.
4- Now you can be given Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, health card, driving licence etc. as ID proof to make ration card.
5- After filling the application, deposit the fee which can range from Rs.05 to Rs.45 and submit the application.
6- Now, after field verification, if your application is found to be correct, your ration card will be created.
