USA: In March, SpaceX may finally launch its Starship rocket on its first orbital test flight. We will attempt a Starship launch next month if the remaining tests go well, Elon Musk said in a tweet. Musk had earlier in January stated that launching Starship in late February had a "real shot," and that a launch attempt in March appeared highly likely.

The company is finally prepared to launch its massive rocket for the eagerly anticipated orbital test flight after about a year. To the moon and Mars, the Starship rocket can transport cargo in addition to astronauts. Even though the spacecraft has not yet entered orbit, it already has a few projects aboard, including the dearMoon project and NASA's Artemis missions.

The 165-foot-tall upper-stage spacecraft called Starship, which will transport the crew and cargo, and the Super Heavy Falcon rocket together make up the two-part system known as Starship. If everything goes according to plan, Booster 7 from SpaceX's Starbase in South Texas will launch an upper-stage variant known as Ship 24 from a Super Heavy prototype.

Ship 24 will complete an orbit of the Earth and then come to rest in the Pacific Ocean not far from the Hawaiian island of Kauai, while Booster 7 will land in the Gulf of Mexico.

A number of milestones have already been accomplished by Booster 7 and Ship 24. Starship finished its first-ever stacked fueling test in January. SpaceX filled both stages of the vehicle with more than 4.5 million kilogrammes of liquid oxygen and methane fuel during the "wet dress rehearsal." The business also went over a few of the launch countdown rituals that must be performed.

Multiple static fires, a typical prelaunch test where the engines are briefly lit while a vehicle is anchored to the ground, have been carried out by Booster 7. The static firing of all 33 Raptor engines on the Heavy stage, however, is one of the most significant tests that still needs to be carried out. More than 14 of the booster's 33 engines have not yet been ignited.
