Amritsar: In Punjab's Tarn Taran district, a Kalyugi son murdered his father in the greed of property. In order to save himself, the accused also lodged a missing report of his father in the police station. When the police suspected the son of the deceased and strictly interrogated him, the accused confessed to his crime. The police is now interrogating the wife of the deceased by taking him into custody.

This case is about Dhagane village under the town belt of Tarn Taran. The son of the deceased Pratap Singh had lodged a complaint with the police station on April 10 that his father had gone out of the house on April 8, but did not return, on which the police started investigation and the son of the deceased was suspected. When the police took the son of the deceased and his wife into custody and questioned them strictly, the whole matter came to light.

On this, DSP Maninderpal Singh says that a case has been registered against the deceased Pratap Singh's son Dharminder Singh under Section 302 IPC and further action is being taken. Police said that in the greed of property, the son killed the father and threw the body in the Beas river. To save himself, he had lodged a false missing report at the police station.
