New Delhi: Reliance In the upcoming months, Jio will introduce its AirFiber service in India. Recall that it was presented the previous year.The product will be available in fixed and mobile versions and will utilise the business's 5G network to provide wireless internet connectivity at rates of up to 1Gbps. The telecommunications company is optimistic that Jio AirFiber will help it advance its "connected homes strategy" in the nation.

Jio's AirFiber should help the company compete with fixed-line ISPs like Airtel, ACT, and BSNL because it will provide high-speed wireless internet connectivity. The service has the potential to revolutionise the broadband market with features like parental control, 5G-level low latency, and extensive network coverage.

A competitive price for AirFiber is anticipated, given Jio's goal of dominating every aspect of the telecom industry.

tipster, predicts that the non-movable variant of AirFiber will have two units. The first will be a router that will be connected to a device that is mounted on the roof by a cable.The second iteration will have Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and be portable like smartphones. It won't need a technician to set it up and will be finished in white and black.

AirFiber will receive the internet connection using a 5G antenna as opposed to buried fiber-optic cables.

In order to use the incoming signal captured by the antenna to access high-speed internet, users must insert a Jio 5G SIM card into the device.

Once AirFiber is utilised, Jio asserts that "connecting your home or office to Gigabit-speed Internet" will be simple. The strength of the signal will, however, determine the internet speed.

The "very high capacity and very low lag time" of the wireless connection will allow users to engage in video chat, play games, and stream videos in 4K and 8K resolution.

By the end of this year, Jio AirFiber's pricing and availability details in India will probably be made public. The device should cost around Rs. 6,000, and the plans could start as low as Rs. 500 per month,
