New Delhi: The X90 and X90 Pro smartphones from Chinese tech giant Vivo have been released in India. Remember that they made their debut in China in February.

The flagship smartphones have a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP sensor, a 120Hz AMOLED screen, and support for fast charging. The starting price for the X90 series is Rs. 59,999.

New models from manufacturers including Samsung, Xiaomi, and OPPO have flooded the Indian market for flagship smartphones. The most recent player in the market is Vivo.

The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro are intended to entice premium smartphone buyers to our shores with their fashionable looks, top-tier ZEISS-tuned cameras, quick wired and wireless charging, and premium hardware.

The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro have an under-display fingerprint reader, narrow bezels, and a top-centered punch-hole cutout. The latter has IP68 protection while the former has IP64-rated dust and water resistance.

A 6.78-inch Full-HD+ (1260x2800 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification is present on both devices. The Pro model has a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.

The Vivo X90 has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and laser autofocus, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom. The camera hardware in the X90 Pro is identical, but instead of a 12MP telephoto lens, it has a 50MP (f/1.6, OIS) zoom sensor that supports a 2x optical zoom. A 32MP (f/2.5) front-facing camera is available on the pair for selfies.

A MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset powers the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro. The X90 Pro is available in a 12GB/256GB configuration, while the former is available in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB trims.

The phones launch Funtouch OS 13 which is based on Android 13. The 4,810mAh and 4,870mAh batteries in the X90 and X90 Pro, respectively, support 120W fast charging. Additionally, the Pro model supports 50W wireless fast charging.

The 8GB/256GB model of the Vivo X90 costs Rs. 59,999, and the 12GB/256GB model costs Rs. 63,999. The X90 Pro costs Rs. 84,999 for its single 12GB/256GB configuration, on the other hand.
