A bench comprising justices TS Sivaganam and Justice V Bhavani Subroyan has issued a notice against him.

TR Senthil Kumar, Senior Standing Counsel of Income Tax Department has talked about this matter. He says, "Rehman got Rs 3.47 crore for making tunes as per contract in the year 2011-12. This agreement was done by the UK based company Libra Mobiles. According to the agreement, Rahman had to make new fumes for the company. Rahman's agreement with the company was 3 years old.
