Kanpur: Pea traders are now the target of the income tax department after perfume and shoe traders in Uttar Pradesh. Five teams of the Income Tax Department are conducting searches at several locations of the pea trader. According to information received, raids are also on at the hideouts of the dal traders. The news of the raid has created a stir in the area. Many people and businessmen in Kanpur have consented.

According to information received, income tax department teams have been conducting searches at the hideouts of pea traders since morning. The raids, which were conducted more than five hours late, have left the entire house cordoned off. The team has also taken a businessman with them for questioning. The team has taken possession of the documents found from the hideouts. In Uttar Pradesh, the Income Tax Department is conducting raids.

The raids, which started from the house of Kannauj perfume trader Piyush Jain, are still continuing. The Income Tax Department had recovered 23 kg of gold along with cash worth crores of rupees from Piyush Jain's hideouts. This was followed by raids on the hideouts of several businessmen including Samajwadi Party (SP) MLC perfume traders Pushparaj Jain and Malik Mian.
