New Delhi: The Income Tax Department is seen in action mode across the country today. In Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, and Bangalore, the Income Tax Department team has raided the locations of many big businessmen. In fact, these businessmen were on the target of income tax for tax evasion and political fading. After which today i.e. on Wednesday (September 7) morning, the team raided 53 places in different states of the country. The Income Tax Department has taken this action using 100 vehicles.
The Income Tax Department has also conducted raids in Mumbai, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Delhi in connection with the mid-day meal scam in Rajasthan. Bangalore's Manipal Group has also been raided by the Income Tax team. At the same time, raids have been conducted on the houses and offices of those earning in mid-day meals in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The Income Tax Department has also raided the house of Minister of State Rajendra Yadav, considered close to Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. He has a factory in Kotputli. More than 300 policemen are also with them in this action of the Income Tax Department.
The Income Tax Department has also taken CRPF personnel with it for security. In the morning, the Income Tax team reached the residence, office and other locations of the business group. The discussion of this raid is going on all over the country. According to sources, the group raided belongs to a senior Rajasthan Congress leader. According to the information, the Income Tax Department has taken major action against the fraudsters in the case related to the collection of donations in the name of political parties. According to income tax sources, this case is related to tax evasion and fraud of crores of rupees.
