Lucknow: The Income Tax Department has raided the residences of an alleged financier of a special political party in Lucknow, Mainpuri, Agra in the early hours of Saturday. The list is said to be under scrutiny for the houses of about a dozen people including Manoj Yadav of Agra, Jainendra Yadav in Lucknow. According to reports, the income tax raid in Lucknow was conducted at Jainendra Yadav's residence near Ambedkar Park. About 12 trains of income tax officials reportedly reached the house of Manoj Yadav, owner of RCL group living in Mohalla Bansi Gohra in Kotwali city of Mainpuri, early on Saturday.
There was a panic among the people. The authorities have since kept all the family members under house arrest. Similar action was taken in Lucknow and Agra. In fact, the Income Tax Department in Lucknow has raided Jainendra Yadav's residence near Ambedkar Park. On the other hand, a raid was carried out at the house of SP leader Rajiv Rai in Mau. Police have also reportedly been called to all places in view of the security.
