In view of the festival of Holi in UP, focus testing is going to be done from today to detect covid-19 infection. This special campaign is scheduled to run till 27 March. The number of covid-19 infected patients has been increasing gradually in the state for the last 10 days. In such a situation, focus testing has been reported to detect infection at the community level.

On the occasion of the festival, the market is crowded, so like Deepawali, focus testing is on life to detect the infection in Holi. In which color, squirrels, snacks, employees working in sweet shops and shopping malls, shoppers, track shopkeepers are going to be sampled. Samples are to be tested daily. So that the infected person can be detected in time and can be quarantined in time. People coming in contact with the infected person will also be investigated.

It has been learned that 167 new Corona positive cases have come up in UP on Friday. Where it has been said that once again the number of patients in the state has started increasing even more rapidly. Also, 2 patients died of infection. In this way, a total of 8743 patients have also lost their lives due to infection. There were 151 patients on 9 March in the state, 128 on 10 March, and 146 patients on 11 March. In this way, in the last four days, the maximum number of patients of this year has been revealed in the state. Now the number of active patients has increased to 1819 in the state. Only 90202 samples were tested in the state on Thursday.

According to the information received, Additional Chief Secretary Medical Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that the most patients in the state are 25 in Lucknow, 15 in Ghaziabad, 13 in Prayagraj, 10 in Bareilly, Kanpur Nagar, 9-9 in Varanasi, 7 in Gorakhpur, Meerut. , 6-6 in Moradabad, 5-5 patients in Jhansi, Barabanki, Banda, 4-4 patients have been found in Noida, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Etah. Till now, there was not a single active patient in Mahoba and Sambhal. On Friday, one patient has also been found there. At present, Siddharth Nagar is the only district where there is not a single active patient. There are 16 districts where 1-1 patients have been found.
