New Delhi: On the third day of the first Test match of the ongoing two-match Test series between Team India and Bangladesh, a piece of good news is coming out for Team India. The good news is that captain Rohit Sharma can be available in the second Test match of the series against Bangladesh. Rohit suffered a thumb injury while fielding during the second match of the three-match ODI series. After which Rohit could not even play the last ODI.  

After this, Rohit could not even play in the first Test, because he had to return to Mumbai, after which he met a specialist. According to media reports, Rohit himself has informed the team management that he will be available for selection for the second Test match. Rohit is expected to reach Bangladesh on Saturday (December 17) for the second Test match. Rohit batted despite a thumb injury in the second ODI and scored an unbeaten 51 off 28 balls, although he could not lead Team India to victory.

Rohit did not come to start the innings in that match and came to bat at number 9. Rohit Sharma has not played a Test match since the home series against Sri Lanka earlier this year. During the fifth Test played in England, he could not play due to the Corona and could not play the first Test match on the Tour of Bangladesh. Rohit, who was ruled out of the first Test match also met the Zimbabwe Under-19 team at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).
