The first Test match between India and Bangladesh is scheduled to start on Wednesday (December 14). Host Bangladesh suffered a major setback before this match in Chittagong. Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan suffered some discomfort during the practice session, due to which he had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. According to Bangladeshi media, as soon as Shakib Al Hasan reached the field for practice on Tuesday morning, he had to be immediately taken to the hospital.
According to the report, a member of the support staff also went in the ambulance with Shakib, so now the question arises whether Shakib Al Hasan will be able to play the first match. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has said that there is nothing serious with Shakib Al Hasan, as there were no other vehicles on the field at that time, due to which he had to go to the hospital in an ambulance. He had mild stiffness, so he went to the hospital for a checkup.
After some time Shakib Al Hasan returned to the field, although he did not practice. This is the reason why there is an atmosphere of anxiety in the Bangladeshi camp. According to Indian time, the first Test match between India and Bangladesh is scheduled to start at 9 am on Wednesday.
