Quinton de Kock scored a Test century for the first time on Indian soil. He completed his century with the help of 15 fours and two sixes off 149 balls. He scored 111 off 163 balls.

In his entire innings, he hit 16 fours and two sixes. De Cock became South Africa's first wicketkeeper-batsman to score a century in Test cricket in India.
