India-China held 10th round of military-level talks

Ladakh: The 10th round of talks between India and China's corps commanders lasted for about 16 hours on Saturday, with an agenda to evacuate other tense areas after Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh. The conversation started at 10 am and ended at 2 pm Saturday-Sunday. This entire conversation took place in a positive environment. It has been learned that the entire process of evacuation of Pangong Lake has been substantiated by both sides in this marathon conversation in Moldo on the China side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC). After which, according to the agreed agreement, a long consultation was carried out on the roadmap to repel the army from Depsang, Gogra, Hot Spring, and Demchak, the four commanding areas of Ladakh.

It has been learned that both parties have agreed to vacate these areas on the lines of Pangong with mutual consent. According to sources, India and China issued a shared statement after the Commander level talks of the 7th, 8th and 9th rounds. It is also being said that it is expected that in the next one or two days, share statements should also be issued on this conversation. According to army sources, last Friday, the release of the names and videos of soldiers killed in the Galvan conflict from China was seen as its new maneuver. However, there is no negative signal in this conversation so far.

Situation of Depsang is quite complex: According to sources, the situation of Depsang in these four areas, especially, is very complex. Therefore, after several rounds of discussion on these, a concrete roadmap has been prepared.
