Political agitation has intensified in the country for the last few days, meanwhile, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole had opposed Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar for not speaking against the rising prices of petrol and diesel. Now two days after his statement, the Mumbai Police has increased the security of Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow.

"This is a temporary initiative, as a precautionary measure," said an officer of the local police station. However, he did not say why more security personnel have been deployed outside 'Jalsa', a bungalow in Amitabh Bachchan's Juhu. Maharashtra Congress chief Patole had criticized Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar for tweeting against the rising prices of petrol and diesel due to the UPA rule, but now they are silent. There is a government of Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena in the state.

Nana Patole said, "I have spoken not against Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan, but against their work. They are not true heroes. If they had been, then they would have stood with ordinary people in times of difficulty. If they were on paper If we want to be a lion, we have no problem." He added, "If they want to continue being ‘kagaz ke sher’, then we don’t have any problem.”
