Bhopal: After a long time in Madhya Pradesh, the Assembly is finally going to get a new permanent Speaker. In fact, after the fall of the Congress government in March 2020, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan took the command of power in his hands. At that time MLA Rameshwar Sharma was given the post of Protem Speaker. It is now being said that a new assembly speaker will be crowned. In fact, Girish Gautam, MLA from Rewa's DeityLab, is being asked to be elected to the Legislative Assembly. Today i.e. on Sunday, Girish is going to file his nomination in the assembly. In such a situation, it is expected that he will be elected unopposed for this post.

For a long time, the BJP leaders of the Vindhya region were protesting that Vindhya has been put on the backfoot in the party. Till now, no leader of Vindhya has given any major responsibility to the party. Talking about Girish Gautam, he has been active in politics for a long time and also been MLA not only once but many times.

Even after becoming an MLA for a long time, he has not yet become a minister. Girish Gautam has been a farmer by profession and now it has been decided to make him the Speaker of the Assembly. Sources associated with this entire matter say that Congress will not field any candidate for the post of Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, because of which Girish Gautam will be the President of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
