New Delhi: The pace of the vaccination campaign was also very slow due to the lack of vaccines when the second wave of the corona epidemic was wreaking havoc in the country. Since June 21, the Central Government has taken over the entire responsibility of vaccination and now the impact is also visible. India has now become the country with the highest vaccinations in the world. India has also surpassed the US and UK in terms of vaccination.

The Union Health Ministry has informed that 32,36,63,297 vaccine supplements have been administered in India so far. India tops the list of countries that have vaccinated in such large quantities. The list of global vaccination trackers is followed by the US after India, which has a vaccine dose of 32.33 crores. India's population is about 125 crore, while the US population is about 330 million. The US is followed by Britain, where 7.67 crore vaccine supplements have been administered.

In addition to the US and UK, 4.96 crore vaccine supplements have been administered in Italy. Germany has 7.14 crore vaccine doses and France 5.24 crore vaccine doses. The vaccination campaign started about two months ago in other countries except for India. The vaccination drive in India was launched on January 16.
