New Delhi: India is gradually moving towards self-reliance to meet its needs in the field of security. From modern weapons to cannons, drones and fighter jets, as well as making its own equipment. On September 2, the indigenously built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant was dedicated to the Navy, which was the golden moment of the development of Make in India and Self-Reliant India. Today we can be proud of the fact that our India is skyrocketing successes with the spectacular way of the Make in India and Self-Reliant Campaign.

This time on the occasion of Independence Day, everyone was surprised to see the cannon with an advanced towed artillery gun system made in India. In the field of defence, India, which was earlier only importing, is now in a position to export to other countries.

Navy gets INS Vikrant:-
 
India is constantly making large warships from weapons under the Made in India campaign. On September 2, the Sea's superpower INS 'Vikrant' joined the Indian Navy. This indigenously built aircraft carrier will provide new strength and energy to the country. Through this huge aircraft, the work of guarding against water to the navel is being done on the sea border. With the indigenous aircraft carrier Vikrant, India has joined the group of countries that have the capability to build warships equipped with such large and modern facilities. INS Vikrant has been built by Cochin Shipyard. The warship has been designed by the Indian Navy's in-house Directorate of Naval (DND).

'Tejas' roar from the sky:-

The Light Combat Aircraft Tejas made in India are dominated all over the world. A new version of Tejas is also expected to arrive soon. The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave its approval to the mega proposal to develop Tejas Mark-II with prototypes, flight tests and certification with a value of over Rs 6,500 crore. Apart from this, the government has also given the green signal to the fifth-generation stealth technology. The advanced version of Tejas will be fitted with a more powerful engine. Tejas-1 weighed 14.5 tonnes, but now its weight will be increased to 17.5 tonnes. Tejas Mark-II will have the capacity to carry a payload of 4.5 tonnes. Earlier, Tejas Mark-1 had a maximum payload capacity of 3.5 tonnes.

India engaged in the development of multi-role drones:-

Many foreign companies have shown their interest in buying Tejas, including the name America. America is considered the most powerful country in the world, it is also showing interest in India's indigenous fighter jet Tejas. Apart from the US, Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines have also shown interest in India's Light Combat Aircraft Tejas. Bharat Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is also trying to develop AI-powered multi-role drones for surveillance along the borders with China at the earliest. It is believed that these drones will prove to be very helpful in dealing with enemy threats.

Indigenously developed ATAGS gun:-

Every Indian was proud to see an Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System made in India on the occasion of Independence Day at the Red Fort in Delhi this time. The 21-Topo Ki Salami was given every year through British-made cannons, but for the first time on the occasion of Independence Day, the salute was given through indigenous cannons. It has been manufactured by DRDO. PM Modi had also said that for the first time in 75 years after Independence, a made-in-India artillery gun was used in the 21-Topo Ki Salami given to the tricolour. All Indians will be inspired by this sound. The gun was manufactured at DRDO's Pune-based facility Ordnance Research and Development Establishment. The ATAGS project was launched by DRDO in 2013 to replace old guns with modern 155 mm artillery guns in the Indian Army.

F-INSAS and AK-203 rifles:-

Indigenously made state-of-the-art weapons are being given to the Army so that India can give a befitting reply to the enemies. In August, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh handed over several indigenous weapons, including F-INSAS, AK-203 rifles, anti-personnel mines, boats and drones, to the Indian Army. The AK 203 is very light and extremely dangerous. Its effective range is said to be 300 meters. Its magazine will have 30 bullets.

BrahMos Hyper Sonic Missile-2:-

India and Russia have started building a new variant of BrahMos-2 i.e. BrahMos-2 supersonic cruise missile. This missile can also use the technology of Russia's deadliest Zircon missile. The BrahMos missile has been jointly manufactured by both India and Russia. In terms of range, this missile is available in different variants. Its range is up to 300-700 km. The hypersonic variants are being jointly manufactured by India and Russia. This advanced version is being developed in collaboration with the Research and Production Association of Machine Building of Russia and the DRDO of India. There is information that it may take some time.  

India's emphasis on exports:-

The world's most lethal and fastest supersonic cruise missile BrahMos is also planned to be built in Uttar Pradesh. We are giving more emphasis on making weapons as well as exporting them. Months after finalising a USD 307.5 million deal for the purchase of three batteries of BrahMos cruise missiles recently, the Philippines is considering buying advanced light helicopters from India to bolster its military might. This is the first time in the country that a foreign naval ship has reached Chennai for repair. The US Navy sent its USNA Charles Drew ship to L&T's shipyard in Kattupalli, Chennai, to repair it through a deal. These activities are expected to give a big boost to the Make in India campaign.
