New Delhi: The diplomatic level talks between the two countries will take place today between the ongoing border dispute in India and China. This will be the fourth dialogue between the two countries since the deadlock on the border. The diplomats had an important meeting to review on Thursday, a day before the talks. Those involved with the development said on Thursday that the main focus of this meeting would be to end the differences, resulting in the disruption and de-escalation process being stalled.

People related to the case said that 'both sides will see the progress made in the disintegration and de-escalation process, as agreed by the leaders of both countries, nobody said that this process will be easy. This process will be very complex and lengthy '. India has expressed hope that the Chinese side will work faithfully with India for the complete withdrawal of its forces from eastern Ladakh, reducing deadlock and full restoration of peace and stability in the border areas.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said in an online press briefing that another round of diplomatic level talks between India and China is likely to take place soon, under the framework of the consultations and coordination mechanism. People related to the case said that this diplomatic dialogue is likely to take place on Friday and the main focus will be on the rapid withdrawal of forces from Pangong So in eastern Ladakh and some other points of dispute.
