After the death of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, many types of cases are being revealed. Now the investigation of Mumbai Police in Sushant Singh Rajput case is going on continuously. Police has questioned more than 35 people. Apart from those close to Sushant, statements of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mukesh Chhabra, Rhea Chakraborty, Sanjana Sanghi, Aditya Chopra have been recorded. Now the police have also called director Rumi Jaffery in Sushant Singh Rajput case for questioning.

Mumbai Police has asked Rumi Jaffery to record a statement at Bandra Police Station. Rumi is a well-known writer and director of Bollywood. He worked in the film Chehre with Rhea Chakraborty. The movie also stars actors Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. The release date of this film has not been announced yet. Rumi Jaffery had revealed in his statement that he was going to make a film about Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty. According to Rumi, he was about to start shooting for this film from Mumbai and end in Punjab via London. It was a dance-based romantic comedy movie.

Rumi had further said that 'Sushant did not have many friends in this industry. But he was very professional about his work. He says, "He got to read the script of this film, but still he wanted to sit with me and discuss it. As the lockdown progressed, the distance between us increased even more. Rumi said that after the movie 'Chhichhore' directed by Nitesh Tiwari, many producers and directors were ready to work with Sushant. After Sushant's death, it is being said that many big films had gone out of his hands. Due to this, he was in depression. Police is constantly investigating.
