Last Monday, 20 Indian Army soldiers martyred in violent clashes with Chinese soldiers. 47 Chinese soldiers have also been killed. This clash can further increase the tension prevailing between the two countries. The skirmish took place in the Galwan area. This is the first time since 1962 that tension has arisen in the region. The most important thing is that this is the area where the Line of Actual Control is clearly defined and both countries have also accepted it. However, China's interference in this area shows that it is moving forward once again by putting forward its aggressive expansionist policy. This region is important for India from various perspectives.

This is the first incident between China and India in 44 years. In 1975, some soldiers were martyred during an action on the India-China border. Earlier, there was a shootout between the two countries in 1967. Different reasons are also cited behind this, but the main reason is believed to be China's expansionist policy. China was insisting on the withdrawal of the Indian Army from Sikkim. Meanwhile, Indian engineers and soldiers started fencing the army. China was already ditching the border.

China started a scuffle on 11 September. Firing began in its Nathula and ceasefire on 14 September. Bodies were exchanged for two days. On October 1, there was again firing in Chola and both sides suffered damage. In these incidents, more than 80 soldiers of India were martyred and about 300 to 400 Chinese soldiers were killed. The incident of 1975 is considered accidental, in which four Indian soldiers were killed in the firing of Chinese soldiers in dense fog. It is also said that Indian soldiers were ambushed.
