According to the information received, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain, Canada and South Africa have got a place in Pool B. India is currently ranked 5th in world hockey. In Bhubaneswar this month, India has qualified for the Olympics by defeating Russia with an 11-3 aggregate.
It has also been confirmed that the Indian women's team has also got a place in Pool A. It is accompanied by defending champions Great Britain and the world's No.1 team, the Netherlands.
