New Delhi: The situation is getting worse day by day due to corona virus across the country. Daily corona is breaking its own record. On Wednesday, 3 lakh 14 thousand 835 new patients have been reported in 24 hours. This number of infected people is the highest in the world in a day since the beginning of the corona epidemic. Earlier, the U.S. had recorded the highest number of new infected cases in a day in the world. The United States received 307,570 new patients on January 8, 2021, but now India has come out ahead in this regard.

In the last 24 hours, 2104 people have died in the country. A record 1 lakh 78 thousand 841 patients have recovered on Wednesday. Corona infection has so far claimed 1 84,657 lives. So far, the total number of corona infected people has increased to 15.9 million 30 thousand 965. 22 lakh 91 thousand 428 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the country. It is 14.3 per cent of the total infected population.

The situation is getting out of control in 11 states including Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh. A record number of people are found to be infected in these states. 62,097 in Maharashtra within the last 24 hours, 29,574 new cases have been registered in Uttar Pradesh, 28,395 in Delhi, 19,577 in Kerala, 21,794 in Karnataka, 15,625 in Chhattisgarh, 12,201 in Rajasthan, 12,727 in Madhya Pradesh, 12,206 in Gujarat, 10,986 in Tamil Nadu, 10,455 in Bihar.
