New Delhi: The second wave of corona virus in India is now slowly declining and new cases are steadily declining, while corona deaths are also declining. In the last 24 hours, 1.26 lakh new cases of corona infection have been reported across the country and 2782 patients have lost their lives.
According to The Worldometer, 1 26,698 people in India have been infected with corona virus in the last 24 hours, while 2782 people have died during this period. The total number of corona infected people in India has since gone up to 28.1 million 73 thousand 655, while 3.31 lakh 909 people have lost their lives due to the epidemic. The second wave of corona virus epidemic has recorded the lowest death in the country after 36 days. Earlier, 2764 people died on April 26. The highest death in the second wave was recorded on May 19, when 4529 patients lost their lives in a day. On May 7, the highest number of new cases were registered across the country and 4 lakh 14 thousand 188 people were infected in a day.
According to statistics, more than 2.54 million people have recovered in the last 24 hours across the country and the number of patients recovered from new cases is high for the 19th consecutive day. Thereafter, the number of people recovering from Covid-19 in India has gone up to 259 lakh 39 thousand 504. At the same time, active cases across the country have declined steadily and 19 lakh 2,242 people were undergoing treatment.
