New Delhi: The corona epidemic is still breaking out across the world. India is also reeling under severe battling it but the continuously declining daily figures of infection are providing relief. The latest figures are the lowest in the daily figures so far. With 38,074 new corona infection cases in the last 24 hours, India's total cases have gone up to 85,91,731. With 448 new deaths, the total death toll has gone up to 1, 27059.

The total active cases in the country have gone up to 5, 05265. With 42,033 new recovery in the last 24 hours, the number of recoverers is 79, 59406. On the contrary, 45,903 new corona infection cases were registered in India on Monday, a day earlier. For the past several days, new cases that had come up every day remained around it. The United States became the first country worldwide, where corona cases reached 1 crore on Sunday. This has happened because of the third wave of Covid-19.

The figure came on the same day when global cases of coronavirus exceeded 5 crores. One lakh cases have been reported from the United States in the last 10 days. 293 days ago, the US has reported the highest rate of infection since its first corona case surfaced in Washington state. According to Reuters information, the US reported a record 131,420 corona cases on Saturday and reported more than 100,000 infections four times in the past seven days.
