New Delhi: The total number of corona infected in the country has reached 98 lakh. Less than 40,000 corona-infected cases have been registered in last 12 consecutive days and less than 30,000 cases for the second time in four days. The country has received 29,398 new infected cases in the last 24 hours. 414 people died due to corona. However, the relief is that 37,528 patients have been healthy from the corona.
Indian has the highest corona case in the world after the US and Brazil. The number of deaths is ranked eighth in the world. According to the latest health ministry data, the total corona cases in India have risen to 97.96 lakh 769. Out of these, 1 lakh 42 thousand 186 people have died so far. The total active cases have come down to 3 lakh 63 thousand. So far, a total of 92 lakh 90 thousand people have been recovered by beating corona.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 151.7 million corona samples have been tested for coronavirus till December 10, out of which 10 lakh samples were tested yesterday. The positivity rate in the country is 7%. Active cases in 26 states and union territories are less than 20,000 and active cases in 9 states and union territories are more than 20,000.
