India coronavirus: Many new cases recorded in the last 24 hours

New Delhi: The corona speed in the country continues to slow down. After 16,946 new corona cases have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours. The infection cases in the country have increased to 1, 05,12093, out of which 1, 01, 46763 people have also been recovered. According to data released by the Union Health ministry at 8 am, the death toll in the country has risen to 1, 51727 after the death of 198 more people from the virus.

According to statistics, with a total of 1,01,46,763 people being free of infection, the rate of recovery of patients in the country has increased to 96.52%. The mortality rate from the corona is 1.44%. The number of active cases in the country is still less than three lakh. 213,603 people are currently undergoing treatment for coronavirus infection, which is 2.03% of the total cases. In India, the number of infections reached 20 lakh on August 7, 30 lakh on August 23 and 40 lakh on September 5.

The total cases of infection reached 50 lakh on 16th September, 60 lakh on 28th September, 70 lakh on 11th October, 80 lakh on 29th October and 90 lakh on 20th November and one crore on 19th December. According to the Medical Council of India (ICMR), a total of 18, 42, 32305 samples have been tested in the country so far. Out of them, 7, 43191 samples were examined on Wednesday.
