New Delhi: Coronavirus infection cases are increasing continuously in the country. In the last 24 hours, the highest ever 69 thousand 878 new cases of Corona have been reported in the country. Now the number of corona infected in India has reached 30 lakhs. Not only this, 945 people have also died in the last day in the country and now the total number of deaths has reached 55 thousand 794. In this regard, India is currently number four in the world in terms of deaths from Corona.

With the increase in Corona cases in the country, the central government is also busy speeding up the testing figures. Between Friday and Saturday, one million corona tests have been conducted for the first time in the country. This is a new record. It is worth mentioning that Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan had said on July 30 that in the next 1-2 months in the country, an effort will be made to reach Corona's tests by 10 lakhs daily. However, ICMR touched this figure within 23 days.

Talking about the most affected states in the country, the situation in Maharashtra is the worst. Now the number of victims has crossed 6 lakh 57 thousand. The number of dead has increased to 21,698 with 339 new deaths in 24 hours. Maharashtra accounts for more than one-third of the country's total deaths.
