New Delhi: Corona cases in India are increasing day by day. According to the data released by the Health Ministry on Monday morning, the total number of infected people in the country has been 36,21,245. A record 78,512 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, with 971 deaths. After which the total number of dead has reached 64,469.

At present, there are 7,81,975 active cases of corona. In the last 24 hours, 60,868 patients have recovered from corona. While a total of 27,74,801 people have returned home after recovering from corona. It has taken 214 days for the total number of infected people in the country to cross 36 lakh. After this, about 35 lakh cases have been registered in about 104 days. The only relief in the growing cases of corona is that the recovery rate is also increasing. The latest rate shows a recovery rate of 76.62 percent. The death rate has remained below 2 percent.

According to the Ministry of Health, the coronavirus death rate has been 1.78 percent. According to experts, due to the increase in the number of tests in the country more cases are reported. According to ICMR, 8,46,278 people have been corona tested in the last 24 hours. While so far corona samples of a total of 4,23,07,914 people have been tested.
