New Delhi: After losing the almost won match in the fifth and final match of the Test series, Team India has made a comeback in the T20 series against England. The Indian cricket team has defeated hosts England by 50 runs in the first T20I match played at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground in Southampton, thanks to a double performance by star all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
Team India won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 198 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. At the same time, chasing a target of 199 runs, England could only score 148 runs in 19.3 overs. After this win, Team India has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20 series.
