Good news has come to Indian sports enthusiasts who have been affected by the coronavirus havoc. India (Indian Women's Cricket Team) has qualified for the next year's ICC Women's World Cup (ICC Women's World Cup 2021). They got the advantage of cancelling the series against Pakistan. Apart from India, three more teams have qualified directly for the Women's World Cup 2021. This tournament is to be played in New Zealand next year.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday informed the four teams including India to qualify for the next World Cup. These four teams finished first four in the point table of ICC Women's ODI Championship. Pakistan's team finished fifth. Under the ICC Women's ODI Championship (Women's ODI Championship), between 2017 and 2020, the top-8 teams had to play ODI series among themselves. By March, two of the eight teams had played their entire matches. Whereas, India, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and Sri Lanka had one series each.

In this way, the team of Australia finished first in the championship with 37 points. After this, England (29), South Africa (25) and India (23) finished second, third and fourth respectively. In this way, the play of these four teams has been decided. New Zealand has a place in the tournament as the host. A total of 10 teams will participate in the tournament. The remaining three teams of the Women's ODI Championship Pakistan, West Indies, Sri Lanka will now have to play a qualifying tournament.
