India has steadily increased its quota to Tokyo Olympics to 41 this year. With this, 74 Indian players have confirmed their seats for the Mahakumbh of the Games. Till February, India had achieved 31 quotas, but nine Indian boxers and javelin throwing player Shivpal Singh have increased this number by securing Olympic quota in their respective classes. Due to Indian men's and women's hockey team and qualifying in some team games, at least 74 players will go to the Olympics. There are 42 male and 32 female players in it. These games will be held from 24 July to 9 August. 117 Indian players went to Rio in the Olympics-2016, who participated in 15 different sports.
