Pakistan said on Friday that India has not yet provided them with the details they had asked for, pertinent to Kulbhushan Jadhav. Pakistan’s foreign office spokesman Dr Mohammed Faisal told they had asked India about how Kulbhushan Jadhav could forge his identity and adopt a fake one of Hussain Mubarak Patel and details about his service at Indian Navy.

Faisal also told that Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested as a serving naval officer of the Indian Navy and that Jadhav confessed about his involvement in several terrorist attacks in Pakistan.

Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested on the charges of spying in Pakistan and was sentenced to death by a military court. However, the verdict was upheld by a bench of ten justices of the  International Court of Justice after India approached them and requested to interfere.

Both Pakistan and India have maintained their theories about Kulbhushan Jadhav, the former claiming he entered from Iran and was arrested at Balochistan while India stays firm on the theory that he was kidnapped from Iran where he was to set up his business post his retirement from the Indian Navy.

This issue has been raised in the United Nations Security Council by Pakistan in after it was accused of aiding terrorists by India, US and Afghanistan.
