New Delhi: The temple of Lord Ganesha has been vandalized by radical Muslims in Bhong town near Rahimyar Khan in Pakistan's Punjab province. The fundamentalists entered the temple and broke the idols of Lord Ganesha and Shiva and Parvati and also damaged the chandeliers and moments in the temple. The temple complex has also been badly damaged in the attack.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has taken cognizance of the incident and lodged a protest summoning the Pak High Commissioner after the video of the incident went viral on social media. An External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said several Hindu temples have been targeted in Pakistan in the past. Once again, the attack on the Hindu temple shows that Pakistan has completely failed to protect the minorities.

Tell you that there are reports of kidnapping, rape, and conversion of Hindu women in Pakistan day in and day out, but atrocities on only 2.14 percent of the total population of the country are not limited to this. Hindu trade, property, and places of worship have also been constantly targeted. But international human rights and equality advocates never open their mouths to the miserable condition of Hindus in Pakistan.
