India logs 38,948 fresh Covid-19 cases, 219 deaths in last 24 hours

The Vaccination is at a rapid pace to curb the infection across the nation.  In the last 24 hours, India has registered 38,948 new instances of the novel coronavirus, as well as 219 fatalities from the infection.

According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday, there were 43,903 discharges in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to about 97.42 percent and total recoveries to 3,21,81,995.

According to ministry data, the overall number of active COVID-19 cases in India has fallen to 4,04,874. The country's overall death toll presently stands at 4,49,752. In India, the first death due to the COVID pandemic was reported in March 2020. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 53,14,68,867 samples have been tested up to September 5 for COVID-19. Of these 14,10,649 samples were tested on Sunday.
