New Delhi: A man who threatened to kill PM Narendra Modi has been detained from Delhi. The man, a resident of Khajuri in North East Delhi, is only 22 years old. According to information received, the youth had called the Police Control Room (PCR) and threatened to kill Prime Minister Modi. The criminal's name is Salman alias Arman. He has told the police that he wishes to go to jail, so he did so.

The culprit Salman is a drug dealer and was also sent to a juvenile home in 2018. He was sent to a juvenile home after being named in a murder case. The youth had called the police on 112 on Thursday night and made the threat. He was traced immediately after the same call was received and the location was shared with the district police unit. Then he was caught with a special date. It is learnt that he was scolded by his father at around 10 pm. He then made this phone call under the influence of drugs.

The man gave a very strange answer in the interrogation. When asked why he made such a threat? So he said he wanted to go to jail. According to reports, the arrested man said, 'That's where (jail) my mind seems to be mine. Salman himself has told the police that he had drugged the smack at 7 pm on Thursday. He then made that phone call to PCR in the middle of the night drunk. Police said senior Delhi Police officers will interrogate him along with intelligence bureau officials as per protocol before taking any legal action.
