New Delhi: India-Pakistan relations are once again showing sweetness on the festival of Eid. Soldiers from both the countries have greeted each other on Eid by offering sweets at the border. Army representatives from both the countries gave sweets to each other at Poonch-Rawalkot border and Mendhar-Hotspring crossing point. This goodwill is important on the occasion of Eid amid years of clashes between the two countries.

Relations with Pakistan have been strained since the attacks in India's Pulwama and Uri. Subsequently, Pakistan has also been shaken by the indian side dividing Jammu and Kashmir into two parts in 2019 and removing Section 370. It was only on Tuesday that Pak PM Imran Khan had said that talks with India will not be held on his behalf unless he withdraws the decision to scrap the section giving special status to Kashmir. The Pak PM had said, "Unless India withdraws its decision of August 5, 2019, there is no question of talks on the part of the Government of Pakistan. '

Earlier, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had said that no talks are going on with India at present and talks can be held if it withdraws its 2019 decision.
