As the T20I series heats up, India aims to clinch the series victory, while Zimbabwe hopes to stay in the game. Both teams are set to face off in the 4th T20I at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday.

This weekend promises thrilling cricket action with India and Zimbabwe battling it out in the final two T20Is of the five-match series.

India, led by Shubman Gill, initially relied on young talent over experience in the first T20I. This approach saw them fall short in the series opener. However, the team quickly adapted, securing a commanding 100-run win in the second T20I.

The third T20I witnessed the addition of experienced players Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson, and Yahasvi Jaiswal, strengthening the Indian lineup. India continued their winning streak, taking a 2-1 lead with a solid 23-run victory over Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe has struggled to find the right balance in their team. Skipper Sikandar Raza has experimented with various opening combinations to achieve stability. Despite the absence of key players, Raza believes his team has the quality to challenge the talented and well-settled Indian side.

Zimbabwe’s batting struggles have been compounded by fielding issues throughout the series. The hosts dropped four catches in the second T20I and three more in the third T20I, along with several missed half-chances and fielding errors.

To turn the tide, Zimbabwe will rely on their star bowler, Blessing Muzarabani. The 27-year-old pacer has been a standout performer, taking four wickets in three games with an impressive economy rate of 6.00, the best among pacers from both teams.

For India, Washington Sundar has been a crucial player, especially after the powerplay. His ability to vary his pace has earned him five wickets at an economy rate of just 4.60. Sundar is currently the joint-leading wicket-taker in the series, alongside fellow spinner Ravi Bishnoi, each with six wickets.

Zimbabwe Squad: Wessly Madhevere, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Brian Bennett, Dion Myers, Sikandar Raza (c), Johnathan Campbell, Clive Madande (w), Wellington Masakadza, Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, Tendai Chatara, Luke Jongwe, Brandon Mavuta, Innocent Kaia, Faraz Akram, Antum Naqvi
