India slams Pakistan for death of 4 Indians in ceasefire

New Delhi: India has expressed strong opposition to the death of three Indian nationals in the firing by Pakistan on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. India issued summons to the Pakistan High Commission official and lodged a strong protest in the death of three innocent civilians, including a child, in Pakistan's ceasefire violation in Krishnaghati sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Indian Foreign Ministry issued a statement giving information in this regard. The ministry said that India has strongly condemned the activities carried out by Pakistan on Friday night, in which three Indian citizens, including children, were killed. The Foreign Ministry said that all the victims of Pakistan's firing belonged to the same family. According to the PTI report, in the statement issued, the Ministry of External Affairs said, 'India strongly condemns Pakistan for deliberately targeting innocent civilians by the Pakistani armed forces. This year Pakistan has broken more than 2711 ceasefire without provocation. 21 Indians died in this, while 94 were injured.

The Ministry of External Affairs said that India strongly opposes Pakistan's attitude to cooperate in cross-border infiltration. Pakistani security forces try to infiltrate under the cover of firing. The Foreign Ministry said that Pakistan should abide by the 2003 ceasefire agreement to maintain peace along the Line of Control and the international border.
