CHENNAI: On the fourth and penultimate day of fifth and final Test between India and England, home rod on Karun Nair’s unbeaten century knock and good batting display by all rounder R Ashwin took 86 runs lead. Nair scored his maiden hundred as India dominated the morning session.

Resuming overnight score 391 for four, Nair and Murali Vijay put on 63 runs for the fifth wicket before the Tamil Nadu batsman was trapped lbw by Liam Dawson. At lunch, India trailed Alastair Cook's men by 14 runs. With the series already in the bag, the Indian cricket team is hoping to add to England's woes with a win in Chennai. India are unbeaten in 17 Tests at the moment.
