Indian govt big decision regarding Afgan soldiers undergoing training in India

Kabul: There is chaos in Afghanistan after the occupation by the Taliban the terror group. It is also affecting 180 Afghanistan military personnel and cadets undergoing training at different military academies in India. The question now arises as to where they will go after completing the training. In view of these difficulties, the Government of India has decided to grant six months e-visa to these jawans after completion of training. So that in the meantime they can take a decision on their future.

According to the report, meanwhile, 140 jawans and cadets undergoing training at various military academies in India have applied for visas in large numbers in other countries including Canada, the UK and Germany in search of a better future. Some jawans have decided to explore their future in India. At present, the entire cost of their training is being borne by the Government of India as part of their nation-building efforts in Afghanistan.

Official sources told the media that "all Afghan cadets and soldiers undergoing training in our academies will be given a six-month e-visa. They have the option to decide on their action regarding their future during this period. Sources said, the soldiers, who are undergoing training in the country's training academies, have been kept in touch with agencies that are already working closely with Afghans living in the country.
