New Delhi: In view of the rapid spread of corona infection in the country, many Indian companies have shown interest in the coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V prepared in Russia. Indian companies have sought information related to the clinical trial of Phase One and Phase-Two of the vaccine from Russian Director Investment Fund (RDIF), a company that manufactures the Corona vaccine in Russia.

Sources in the Indian embassy in Moscow informed Russian news agency Sputnik that Indian companies were showing interest in Russia's Corona vaccine. Russian Director Investment Fund (RDIF) has given money for research and trial of Sputnik V vaccine made in Russia. RDIF has the right to marketing and exporting this vaccine. If RDIF provides information related to phase one and phase-two clinical trials to Indian companies, then production of this vaccine can be started in India.

According to sources related to the Russian embassy, Indian companies are in constant contact with RDIF and have started their negotiations on the vaccine. Regarding whatever information these companies have asked, the matter is being pushed forward. Discussion on the export of vaccine has been started only after getting necessary permission from the government.
