Guwahati: Floods continue to wreak havoc in the state; there is chaos in the entire state. During the torrential rains on Monday, 6 people died. About 22 lakh people have been affected due to floods. However, a relief estimate has been raised for Assam from the Meteorological Department. According to the department, the monsoon has changed its path and it is now moving rapidly towards the south. Due to this change of the monsoon, the rain will decrease in Northeast India.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is active from Konkan Goa to Kerala in the west coast. According to the Skymet Weather Report, Mumbai is expected to receive heavy rains till July 16, an alert has been issued regarding this. The heaviest rainfall can be here on July 15. A warning has been issued in Himachal for rain. Apart from Mumbai, heavy rains are expected in Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Tamil Nadu and some areas of Andhra Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Also in Gujarat, there may be torrential rains in some areas.

Monsoon is normal in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall. Normal rains are expected in some districts of Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana. Waiting for the rain in Delhi may be prolonged as the weather is expected to be dry today.
