NEW DELHI: India-Australia is exploring working group for promoting transnational education.  According to discussions held during Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's four-day visit to Australia, India and Australia will look into ways to encourage the movement of universities back and forth between the two nations and will establish a working group on transnational education to comprehend regulatory settings.

On Monday, THE Union Education Minister  Pradhan held a bilateral meeting with his Australian counterpart Jason Clare and served as co-chair of the sixth meeting of the Australia India Education Council, a platform for advancing relations and fostering engagements in the areas of education, skill development, and research priorities.

In addition to skill certification in fields including mining, logistics, management, and agriculture, the minister. Pradhan pushed for research collaboration between the two nations in the areas of Ayurveda, yoga, and agriculture. 

According to a news release from the Ministry, he said that the two nations might collaborate to build the curricula for Digital University and Gati Shakti University in India.

Australian counterpart Jason Clare promised that his administration will give cooperation in order to hasten the process after minister Dharmendra  Pradhan mentioned the issue of waiting visas for Indian students intending to study in Australia.
