New Delhi: The 14th round of Corps Commander level talks between India and China lasted for about 13 hours. The talks that started in Chushul-Moldo on Wednesday morning ended at around 10.30 pm. During this dialogue, the Fire and Fury Corps Commander Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta led the Indian side.

After more than three months, India and China are trying to resolve the military standoff in eastern Ladakh for the last 20 months. It is being told that the main focus of the talks was on resolving the Hot Springs area. The Indian Army will insist on resolving all the deadlock issues, including the resolution of the issues in Depsang Bulge and Demchok. Let us inform that the 13th round of talks between the two countries was held on 10 October. After talks with both sides, there was no progress in talks with the Indian Army.

The fresh talks are taking place days after India criticized China for building a bridge over Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh. The bridge is in an area that has been under illegal Chinese occupation for almost 60 years. Last week, India had termed the renaming of some places in Arunachal Pradesh as "ridiculous" to China. It was told by the army that Arunachal Pradesh has always been a part of India and will continue to be so.
