New Delhi: The Ministry of AYUSH will open four thousand health and wellness centers in the country within the next three months under PM Narendra Modi government's plan Ayushman Bharat. Actually, by December 2019, these health and wellness centers will start opening in different states of the country. Apart from Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani and Siddha medicine will be provided here. Not only this, India is going to start work with China and Bangladesh soon in relation to AYUSH medicine. In August, both countries have also signed contracts with India.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Bangladesh wants cooperation from India in setting up a drug testing laboratory on alternative medicine, so on August 21, a five-member delegation from Bangladesh reached New Delhi. Earlier on August 12, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between India and China in Beijing.

Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik has said that PM Modi has given a target to his ministry to set up 12,000 centers, out of which 4 thousand centers will start by the end of this year. Naik has told that apart from China and Bangladesh, Malaysia will also soon start an alternative medical facility with cooperation from India. BGR-34, a popular and successful drug for diabetes at these centers.
