The white Santro car had a two-wheeler number plate, which was registered in Kathua. The Jammu and Kashmir Police tracked it down, after which the bomb was searched. The surrounding area was evacuated before calling the bomb disposal unit. Earlier last year, the terrorist attack in Pulwama was similar. In which a bomb was planted in a vehicle and it was rammed into a CRPF convoy, about 45 soldiers were killed in that terrorist attack in February 2019.
