Srinagar: Security forces have got a big success on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have piled up three terrorists hiding in a village in Shopian. The top commander of Hizbul was killed in the encounter. The security forces have avenged the murder of Sarpanch Ajay Pandita. The security forces have killed 30 terrorists in the last one month. 17 terrorists have been killed in Shopian in 10 days.

According to DGP Dilbag Singh of Jammu and Kashmir Police, today three terrorists were killed in Shopian. One of them is the top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen and the biggest thing is that the terrorists of Hizbul who killed Sarpanch Ajay Pandita, have been killed by the security forces today. The responsibility of killing the sarpanch Ajay Pandita, The Resistance Front, the organization associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the murder. This is a clear message from the army and security forces that the end of the transition to terrorism is necessary. The top police officer has said, "Three militants have been killed in the encounter so far. Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from the spot, the operation is on."

The officer said that a joint cordon and search operation was started by the joint team of police, army 44RR and CRPF in Turkwangam at midnight. The area where the terrorists were hiding was surrounded. The terrorists were earlier asked to surrender, the police officer said, but they opened fire on the search party, triggering an encounter. Three terrorists have been killed and their bodies have also been recovered.
