New Delhi: A information has been revealed about Covaxin. This first indigenous corona vaccine of Bharat Biotech and ICMR has almost passed the first stage trial test. 375 volunteers were selected for the trial of Covaxin. Trials are going on at 12 places across the country. Two doses of vaccine have been fixed for each volunteer.

According to a report, the vaccine has been found effective in trials. Till now there is no side effect on any person. Savita Verma, who is watching the ongoing trial in Rohtak's PGI, said this. Savita Verma said that blood tests are still going on. It may take August to finish the first phase. Volunteers are to be given another dose now. Sanjay Rai also said that the biotech Covaxin is safe. He is watching a vaccine trial at Delhi AIIMS. The trial is going on, on 16 people.

The results of all 12 sites will be seen before the vaccine is launched. If the promising results are seen, then the Drug Controller General of India will see the trial of the second phase. According to the news, the officer watching the trial has told on condition of not making the name public until everything is finalised, the vaccine will come in the market in the initial 6 months of next year. Country's first corona vaccine has been prepared by Bharat Biotech and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
