New Delhi: In view of the increasing cases of coronavirus, the Indian government has revoked the visas of some new European countries. On Tuesday, the Indian government temporarily revoked the visas of citizens of France, Germany, and Spain. Citizens of these countries will not be allowed to enter India at present.

It is noteworthy that about 50 positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in India. Of these 34 are Indians and 16 are citizens of Italy. According to the Union Health Ministry, a meeting was held on Tuesday on the coronavirus under the leadership of the Cabinet Secretary. In this meeting itself, it has been decided to temporarily ban the entry of citizens of France, Germany, and Spain to India. In this regard, the Ministry of External Affairs has sent information to these three countries.

Earlier, the central government has already canceled the visas of several other countries in view of the threat of coronavirus. Chinese citizens were first prevented from entering. Recently, all visas granted in Italy, Iran, and Japan have been rejected. The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a notification saying that any citizen or traveler coming from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Macau, Hong Kong, Japan, Nepal or Singapore, should share their health information with the government.
